What do you like most about this job?
I like the moment when a student parks calmly for the first time and looks at me like a wizard who just revealed the secret of parallel parking.
What is your teaching style and what do students value most in your classes?
My style is a mixture of “calmly, no one died” and “imagine that the pedals are a dance: gas, clutch, brake - chacha-cha!”.
Students appreciate that I don't raise my voice when the car dies out behind a traffic light, and that I can explain turning the steering wheel as if we were discussing where to go to eat pizza.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
I love repairing old bikes — it's like a jigsaw puzzle, except that it smells of solidol, and I love to ride them. I'm also a fan of “couch racing” (thanks, PlayStation!). I often listen to audiobooks and sometimes sing while driving — but only when the traffic jam is long and 90s hits are coming from the radio.
Do you have any funny stories or surprising facts about yourself?
Once a student mixed up the gas and brake, and we would almost have done a car slam between the bins — it's been my favorite story ever since!

I believe that anyone can become an ace at the wheel, if they are not afraid of mistakes and hold the steering wheel with love. And yes, if you suddenly forget where the chamberlain is, I will remind you of this with a smile. The main thing - do not touch my tea thermos: it is like another card reader to me 😉
