How is category BE training carried out?

Registration is the first step to obtaining a category BE driving licence

Fill in an application on the website. Within minutes, you’ll be emailed clear instructions on how to proceed.

Theory – fast and convenient online driving school format

Once you’ve paid the invoice, we’ll send you access to the online environment and register you with the Transport Administration. The theoretical part covers only three academic hours. You’ll take the theory test remotely through the driving school – no need to go anywhere or wait in line.

Driving lessons – practice real situations

Driving lessons (at least two academic hours) start at the same time as the theory lectures. The aim of the curriculum is to practice driving a combination of vehicles with a trailer in real-life situations, gain confidence and learn defensive driving techniques, and to prepare for the driving test.

Theory test – you can register in advance

You’ll be able to pre-register for the Transport Administration’s test as soon as you’ve passed the theory test at the driving school. Sky Driving School will support you throughout your journey, until you have your category BE driving licence in your hands.

Driving test – register through the driving school

Once you’ve completed your practical training, you can register for the Transport Administration’s driving test. Registering through the driving school often gives you access to the earliest available time slots, saving you a considerable amount of time.

That’s all there is to it! Your category BE driving licence is ready for action, allowing you

independence from other people’ vehicles and trailers. Feel free to haul anything you need: boats, caravans, construction equipment, etc.

How much does the training for a category BE motor vehicle driving licence cost?

Prerequisites for training:

- Category B driving licence;
- at least 20 years of age.

Category BE

A combination of vehicles consisting of:
- a category B motor vehicle with a maximum mass up to 3,500 kg;
- a trailer with a maximum mass up to 3,500 kg.
The maximum mass of the combination of vehicles is up to 7,000 kg.

Examples of trailer use: transporting a boat, a car, large domestic animals or a caravan.

Attention! If you have a provisional driving licence for a category B motor vehicle, your right to drive a category BE vehicle will only come into effect once your provisional licence has been exchanged for a full licence.

The permissible maximum mass of a combination of vehicles is up to 4,250 kg.

You’ll only need to take the Transport Administration’s driving test.

A corresponding note shall be made on your driving licence.
