Why did you decide to become a driving instructor, and what do you enjoy most about this work?
I decided to become an instructor because after 14 years of service in the traffic police, I’ve seen a lot - both good and dangerous.
I’ve always wanted the roads to be safer and for people to feel confident behind the wheel. Now I can share my experience and help students become skilled and polite drivers.
What is your teaching style, and what do students appreciate most about learning with you?
In my teaching, I focus on patience and clear explanations. Students often tell me they never feel afraid to ask “silly questions,” because I always explain everything in a simple way, using real-life examples. I sometimes add a bit of humor - a smile helps reduce nervousness during the first lessons.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy active leisure and road trips - driving is not just my profession, but also a way to relax, unwind, and listen to my favorite tracks.
Is there a funny story or an unusual fact about you that might surprise your students?
A funny moment from an exam: once I asked a student without what you absolutely cannot drive a car in traffic.
I expected “insurance” or “technical inspection.” He answered, “Without a driver.”
I think that was the most unexpected answer I’ve ever heard.
