Why did you decide to become a driving instructor and what do you like most about this job?
Every day, being in traffic, I looked at the drivers and often thought: “How so? Who taught them?” - but not condemnately, but sincerely asking: where are they rushing, why are they mistaken? So I decided to start teaching people myself.
It is important for me to show by my personal example that driving is based on common sense, logic and safety.
Most of all, in this profession, I enjoy the opportunity to meet different people and learn something new every day - because no two situations are the same in traffic.
What is your teaching style and what do students value most in your classes?
Students often say: “You will never be bored!” Even in stressful situations, there is a lot of humor, support and laughter in the lessons.
My goal is to remove tension, help overcome fear and make learning not only effective, but also enjoyable.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
I love going to the gym, going to the pool and early morning walks with my pet.
It energizes me and helps me stay focused and calm in traffic.
Do you have a funny story or unexpected fact about yourself that might surprise students?
One examiner once called me “Robin Hood”:)
A personal message to students:
Perseverance, patience and honest self-analysis are the key to success.
Love for cars and a real desire to learn is the most important thing.
Many of my students have passed the driving test the first time — and you could be next!
